Shrek (Mike Myers) is on a mission to have the perfect christmas for Princess Fiona (Cameron Diaz), the only problem is, Shrek has no idea what Christmas really means. Shrek goes to the local bookstore and Shrek gets his hands a copy of Christmas For Village Idiots, a step-by-step guide to celebrating the holiday. Shrek (Mike Myers) is on a mission to have the perfect christmas for Princess Fiona the house in the holiday spirit. He hopes to spend a quiet holiday with his family but when Donkey (Eddie Murphy) shows up his plans for a quiet holiday go right out the window. As Shrek attempts to tell a narrative of "A Visit from St. Nicholas (the night before Christmas)"; Gingerbread Man (Conrad Vernon), Donkey, and Puss in Boots (Antonio Banderas) insist on telling their own versions of the holiday tale. Each one more fantastic and full of madcap adventure then the last until all of Shrek's decorations, furniture and the tree end up destroyed and Shrek kicks everyone out of his house. Upset that Christmas seems to be ruined, Shrek swallows his pride and attempts to make amends with his friends in the true spirit of the holiday.
