Being on the River Ebro means that water activities like fishing, kayaking and canoeing are extremely popular and Beniemocions in the village provide all the equipment and instruction needed for a great day out. Pot holing, trekking and bicycle rental are additional services they supply and we have also found lots of other suggestions including motorbiking, cycling, walking trails, mountain hiking, wine tasting and recommended drives.
Close by are opportunities for horseriding and birdwatching, and, for the adrenaline junkies, Deltaventur in Amposta have a host of heart stopping activities such as bungyjumping, quadbiking, abseiling, canyoning and jetsking. The area has many possibilities for rockclimbing including the Massif of Els Ports, the Serra del Montsià and Llaberia where there are almost virgin walls. In some areas climbing is forbidden during the bird breeding season from January to June. Elsewhere, it is compulsory to ask for permission at least 5 days in advance and you can find further details at the Els Ports Natural Park information centre.
More relaxing activities include painting classes in the village for those wishing to try their hand at capturing life on canvas, and, for beach lovers, a short drive will being you to the coast where you can enjoy a different beach each day.
